Definition

One player is the leader, selecting an initial strategy, and another player is the follower, who chooses strategy in response to the strategy of the leader (hence also known as leader-follower game)

in game matrix, e.g. leader chooses row, and follower chooses a column based on the choices in that row

admits a Stackelberg equilibrium
